Identify scam invoices

When requesting a payment, Springer Nature will always either: 

  • Send you an email with a link to one of our secure online payment platforms or
  • Send you an email with an invoice and/or our payment options using Springer Nature-branded stationery.

If you have received a payment request which does not conform to the above (such as bank details in an email with an amount to pay but no Springer Nature invoice attached) you can contact the appropriate Customer Support team to confirm it is a genuine request from Springer Nature before making payment.
