Did not receive activation email for my SpringerLink account

Check your SPAM/junk mail folder.

Then, see if you already have an active account. Whenever we create a new account in our customer system, it checks to see if there is already a MySpringer user account in SpringerLink with that email address.

If so, then the already existing MySpringer account will be automatically updated and an activation email will not be sent.
