We will soon remove this function as user data is no longer included in any usage reports.
In some usage reports we can let you know which individual used your content. To get information for all your patrons, you can use the "SpringerLink login before download" setting. When the setting is enabled your patrons will be presented with a login screen before they can download PDFs of licensed content.
Patrons do not need to be Associated Users of your organization. The only requirement that the settings switches on is that the person has registered with us. The email address the person used to register will be the one added to the usage reports.
To enable the settings:
1. Go to the Access tab of the Librarian Portal.
2. Scroll to "SpringerLink login before download".
3. Check "Patrons must login to SpringerLink to download licensed content" and tap Save
